２ カードの遊び方
１ かるたとり
・絵カードをばらまき、読み手の読んだカードを取る。昔からある「かるたとり」ですが、最初は英語、日本語の両方を読むのが望ましく、少し覚えてからは英語だけ、或いは日本語だけ読んで取るようにするとよい。
・二人（または二組）競う場合：カードをよく切って二組にわけ、それぞれの前に横に８枚ずつ４列に並べる。読み手が読んだカードを見つけたら、その場に裏返す。ただしそれが相手方のカードであったら自分のカード一枚と交換し、交換したカードのところへ裏返しておく。先に全部裏返しになった方が勝ちです。
２ ドーナッツゲーム
真ん中によく切ったカード全部、裏返してドーナッツ状におき、順番を決めて最初の人から一枚ずつ取り（好きなところから取っていってよい）、そのカードが読めたら（または、言えたら）５枚まで取れる。読めなかったり間違った時は、そのカードをドーナッツの真ん中に積んでいきます。ドーナッツが無くなったら、この積み重ねから同じようにカードを取っていきます。終わったらドーナッツから取ったものが１枚１点、真ん中のカードは１枚２点で数えます。もちろん、得点の高い方が勝ちになります。
３ カードめくり
真ん中によく切ったカード全部、裏返しておき、１枚ずつ取って読みます。読めたら自分のところへ集めていきます。多くなった方が勝ちです。
絵カードと読みカードを別々に二つ積んでおき、絵カードは２点、読みカードは１点としてゲームを進めてもよい。
４ 双六遊び
絵カードのみを渦巻き状に並べ、サイコロを振って数だけ進み、そのカードを読みます。読めたら取っていきます。読めなかったら元のところへ戻ります。
